AS SHE PURRED

Molly is an orange, overindulged tabby cat who goes about her daily routine as if it were a checklist. It begins with a nice, good stretch and paw licking to keep her sassy self clean. She then proceeds to do her business in the litter box and repeats the process all over again. When it’s nearing lunch time, she’ll walks down to the living room and moseys to her usual spot, on a fuzzy woolen rug with her name sewn in gold thread in a cozy little corner. Her favorite cat nip and toys are sprawled all around her space. She’ll take her time trotting circles to the center of the rug, stops to knead the ground before finally plodding her white furry bottom down. When Molly’s tummy starts to rumble and her nose tingles, yearning for something to compliment her stomach in delicious flavorful fishy treats. She would sit upright with the most attentive posture and waits for her meal to be served.

Her master in her Mid 90’s with a server obsessive compulsive disorder, would have her food ready and served to her on a silver platter on time. It would be on the ground served with a side of orange juice. As usual Molly always had that confidence everything would happen the same way she always liked it. But this one day was different; she noticed that her food sat at the edge of the kitchen table. Curious as a cat would be, she slowly moved to the bottom edge of the counter to sit down as she looked up to stare at her reflection under the silver platter. Recalling the one time she leaped and tipped the platter over making a mess on the floor and dared never to do it again (explain?). Her master was also uptight but adored her with all the love she had to offer, she was a rather lonely person and molly was her only companion, spending most of her time sitting at her chair knitting away the many colorful scarf she made.

Molly had a hint of something that smelled delicious that came from the living room tickle her nose as she took a sniff out of the smell that was lingering in the air. It smelled rather peculiar thinking to herself, “hmmm..It not quite like it but it smells like sardines! Yummy!” followed by a snooty meow. Licking her tiny pink lips and flicking her furry little orange tail back and forth slowly, she waltzed towards her master. She noticed that her master was slouched into the curvature of the soft but synthetic leather couch, radiant and fair smelling extremely (delicious) as she stared at the big flat screen in front of her, eyes wide open. “I hate that look!” she hissed, as she had seen that look far too many times, and they’re usually followed by unwelcomed violation of her personal space, picking her up and always messing her pride and glory, her well groom fur coat.

The same human like sounds with random flickering colors continued to radiate from the flat screen nearby. She’s so lazy she’s not even bothered to get up to shut them off, with her magical black boxy wand! She usually does that when Oprah disappears around this time just to feed me! Molly thinks to herself. She sat at the foot of her master’s feet anxious to be fed she continues to sniff in the delicious aroma lingering in the air. Trying to get her masters attention, she purrs continuously rubbed her fur against her master’s feet, meowing. Each time she tried something different and didn’t receive any reaction, it got her feeling tired and annoyed. Pacing back and forth, the sweet melodies of her meowing slowly turned into high pitched screeches, which tore through the air like nails on a chalk board. In anger and retaliation, Molly gained gratification in shredding her master’s fancy dress that she was wearing for the lack of attention which Molly so rightfully deserved. She was getting very impatient paced in circles, tracing the shape of the rug below her. Her tummy continues to desire the tasteful aroma that lingered in the air or whatever would satisfy the grumbling rumbles.
In the far distance, a soft whisper of a siren is heard. It grows louder, closing in on her master’s house. A few thuds on the door are heard before it swings open slamming against the wall. Molly innocently looks at the people rushing into the house, pinching their noses. They bring out a big white cloth and wrap her master up. A large man in a blue, who was stocky for his uniform, with a hat shaped like an upside down litterbox, noticed Molly from the distance. He walked up to her slowly and picked her up. Gazing at her with sympathetic eyes, he started patting her head with pity. Molly purrs as she was pretty happy that she was finally getting the attention she had wanted. As the people carry her master wrapped in a bundle like a burrito out of the house, Molly enjoys her backrub and looked up at guy with the litter box on his head and says ,“meow.” Is that for dinner?

It was definitely Tiring! and to be honest 14 days was way to much to just sight see San Francisco! We ate and ate and walked and walk! but overall still very fun!

Just to let everyone know since it's nearing the date! - I'll be back In Singapore From the 6th to the 24th! Had some complications with my ticket, and have to come back!
THAT'S A GOOD THING! :)
